• 2 tuna steaks, about 6-ounce portions
  • olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sumac

Step 1

Brush the tuna with olive oil and rub the sumac on all sides.

Step 2

Heat a skillet; when hot, place the tuna on it and cook for 2-3 minutes per side.

Step 3

Remove from heat and serve immediately.

You may serve this with cooked vegetable, or placed over a salad or rice. Salmon may be substituted for the tuna.
