  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ cup sugar
  • water, enough to dissolve sugar and powder
  • pinch salt
  • 4 cups milk

Step 1

In a heavy saucepan, mix cocoa powder, sugar, salt, and add water to dissolve.

Step 2

Stir until it turns into syrup.

Step 3

Add milk and heat to drinking temperature but not to a boil.

Step 4

Pour into cups and serve.


Add halal marshmallows or whipping cream on top.
