- 1 medium cucumber
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- juice of ½ lemon
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons white vinegar
- 2 cups halal yogurt
- salt to taste
Peel the cucumber, slice in half, and remove the seeds, then chop very fine.
Combine the cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, vinegar, and yogurt.
Place in refrigerator and serve chilled.
Use as a topping for vegetables or as an accompaniment to lamb or beef. It is also great on gyro and kabobs.
