The Halal Food Council of Europe (HFCE) is delighted to announce the appointment of Mounif Kilani as our new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), based in Brussels, Belgium.
Mr. Kilani brings a wealth of experience in global markets and a proven track record of leadership. His diverse background, spanning education, economic, and commercial sectors, positions him to lead HFCE towards new levels of success and growth, benefiting the Halal industry as a whole.
Before transitioning into the economic and commercial sectors, Mr. Kilani served as a teacher of Islamic religion in Belgian high schools and was an active member of the Islamic and Cultural Center in Brussels. He has held several key positions, including Research and Studies Officer at the Arab-Belgium-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, Passenger Sales Supervisor at Saudia Airlines, Economic & Commercial Counsellor at the Belgian Embassy (in Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and the UK), Executive Manager at Coprabel S.A., and Foreign Trade Consultant and founder of BAB Consult Belgium.
Mr. Kilani holds a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and is a board member of several associations focused on diversity and intercultural relations. He is also a keynote speaker specializing in foreign trade and cross-cultural relations. Fluent in English, French, and Arabic, his expertise will be invaluable as HFCE continues to expand its global presence and strengthen its commitment to excellence in Halal certification.
